Lahore

With the aim to provide a safe, efficient, and comfortable urban transportation system and reduce the growing congestion problems in Lahore; Punjab Mass Transit Authority (PMA) has established Bus Rapid Transit System in Lahore known as Lahore Metro Bus System. The Metro Bus System (MBS) Line-1 from Gajjumata to Shahdara, established in Lahore, is the first system operated by PMA.

Rawalpindi

To provide a safe, efficient and comfortable urban transportation system and reduce the growing congestion problems in Rawalpindi; Punjab Mass Transit Authority (PMA) has established Bus Rapid Transit System in Rawalpindi known as Pakistan Metro Bus System. The Pakistan Metro Bus System operates between Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The line was inaugurated on June 04, 2015.

Multan

The Punjab Mass Transit Authority engaged a consultant in 2014 for the Transport Modeling and Feasibility Study of mass transit systems in Multan. The consultants planned long-term mass transit network for Multan and prepared feasibility study for Priority-I i.e. Red Line. The Red Line is a Bus Rapid Transit Corridor and being operated as Multan Metro Bus System (MMBS).
