Centralized Automated Fare Collection and Bus Scheduling System (AFC-BSS):
The project costs 317.954 million. It involves Bus Scheduling System (BSS) and Automated Vehicle Location System (AVLS), on board Passenger Information System & mobile application modules, Payment Settlement System, modification and implementation of the AFC-BSS developed by PITB under the umbrella of PMA Command & Control Centre. According to ridership survey of PTC, approximately 20 million per annum commuters will travel on PTC Buses. This project will directly benefit the general public of each gender and age group.
